Little Food Researchers

If young people are going to become transformative agents of food system change, then education also needs to transform so that it can both enable and support young people to take action.

The Little Food Researchers project was first piloted by Monash University at the 2024 Little Food Festival and continues to be part of the festival in 2025 and beyond. The project demonstrates how children can become active investigators – interviewing experts, parents, and peers to uncover insights about food and sustainability.
